When You Actually Need Extra Design Services (and When You Don’t)

Extra design services are useful, but they’re not necessary for most orders — knowing the difference ahead of time saves both time and money.

You Probably Don’t Need Extra Design Time If…

You have a clear logo file, know exactly what text you want, or just need a name and date printed. These are handled as part of a standard order, with free mockups available to confirm placement before it goes to production.

You Probably Do Need It If…

You’re combining multiple images or ideas into a new design, need something built from a rough concept rather than a finished file, or want a few different design directions to choose between before committing.

How Design Time Is Structured

Design time is available in 15, 30, 45, or 60 minute blocks, or at a flat rate, so you’re not required to buy more time than a given request actually needs.

Referencing an Order in Progress

If the extra design work connects to an order you’ve already placed, including that order number keeps everything on the same thread rather than starting from scratch.
